When someone on your team passes the end-of-course assessment, we issue them a certificate. Here’s how to find them, how to prove they’re genuine to an inspector or employer, and what your learners can do for themselves.
What do you need to do?
- See who’s earned one → Enrolments tab.
- Prove a certificate is real → share the public verification link.
- Get a PDF → open the certificate and use your browser’s Print → Save as PDF.
- Get a big batch as PDFs → email us, we’ll help.
See who has earned a certificate
- Click Manage training in the sidebar and open your order.
- Stay on the Enrolments tab.
- The Certificate column shows a gold award icon for everyone who has earned one. People who haven’t finished yet show a dash.
If you only want to see who has finished, use the Passed filter in the row of filters above the table.
Prove a certificate is genuine
Click the gold award icon next to anyone’s name. That opens our public Certificate Validation page, with their certificate number already filled in, showing the learner’s name, the course they passed, and the date it was issued. Anyone you send that link to can confirm the certificate is real — an employer, an inspector, a regulator. They don’t need a Dementia Educators account to view it.
Certificate Validation
Anyone with the link can confirm this certificate — no account needed.

Authorised Signature
Certificate numbers follow the format DEM-YYYY-NNNNNN, so they’re easy to record in your own systems if you need to.
What your learners can do for themselves
Each learner can see their own certificates by signing in and going to My Certificates in the sidebar. From there they can:
- View Certificate — opens the full certificate on screen, ready to show, screenshot or print using the browser’s print option.
- Share Certificate — copies the same public verification link to their clipboard so they can paste it into an email or message.
This means a learner can usually sort their own employer or regulator evidence without coming to you for it.
A note on PDFs
There’s no “Download as PDF” button today. If a learner needs a PDF copy, the easiest way is to open the certificate (View Certificate) and use the browser’s Print → Save as PDF. If you need a batch of certificates as PDFs for a record-keeping system, email support@demed.co.uk and we’ll help.
Common questions
Do certificates expire? Some courses set an expiry date, some don’t. The expiry, if any, is shown on the certificate itself.
What if someone’s name is spelt wrong? Names on certificates come straight from each learner’s account, so it’s worth asking people to double-check their name when they first sign in. If a certificate has already been issued with the wrong spelling, ask them to correct it in their profile first — if that doesn’t fix it, email support@demed.co.uk and we’ll re-issue it.
Can I get certificates for everyone in one go? Not directly from the dashboard. The Export CSV button on the Enrolments tab gives you a list of who has been certified, including certificate numbers, which you can use alongside the verification link.
